Long before departure

When you join the tour
THE WELCOME PACKAGE
A black canvas roll arrives at your door.
Inside:
- The route highlights (not turn-by-turn)
- Weather forecast for your dates
- WhatsApp group invitation
- Final payment reminder
Still nervous? Call us. It's normal. -
7/14 days before
COLLECTION DAY
Our transporter arrives at your home. Specific time slot. You'll meet Tom or Ben usually.
Together, we:
- Complete condition report (photos of everything)
- Check documents and insurance
- Note any concerns or requests
- Load your bike (you can watch)
- Sign the paperwork
- Wave goodbye -
Before leaving
BIKE PREP
Your bike gets a glow-up. We prepare and check everything before leaving. You've got the following options:
- Full service
- Tyre swap (to something appropriate, no Pilot Sports here)
- Clean and check the moving bits, suspension, chain, headset etc.
- Swap the air filter for one that will filter dustWe always check and make sure your bike is safe to ride.

IN TRANSIT
Your bike travels to departure point. Secure, insured, tracked. Overnight stops in locked compounds. No ferry decks.Meanwhile, at destination:
- Preparation for your arrival
- Final route checks happening
- Test ride by our mechanic
- Parked. Waiting. Ready. -

LANDING & REUNION
You land. (Flights typically £80-150 return) Airport to hotel via Rasa pick up.
Check in. Breathe. Your bike waits in secure parking. Go see it. Check everything. It's really here. You're really here.
Evening:
- Welcome dinner (included)
- Route briefing
- Introductions (strangers, soon to be friends)
- Weather check
- Sleep (probably badly - excitement) -
day 1
THE BEGINNING
Breakfast 08:00. Briefing 08:30. Pack and leave by 09:15.First day is always gentle. Finding rhythm. Learning personalities. Guides assessing. Adjusting. Lunch somewhere beautiful.
Afternoon: confidence builds.
Evening: arrival at hotel.
Bike parked. Beer opened. Stories begin. -

07:30 - Breakfast
08:15 - Morning briefing (weather, route, options)
09:00 - Depart (your pace, not parade speed, not Dakar)
10:30 - Coffee stop (always somewhere good)
12:30 - Lunch (local, never tourist)
14:00 - Afternoon riding
17:00 - Arrive at hotel
17:30 - Bikes secured
19:00 - Dinner (your choice, our recommendations)On some days there are socials and surprises.
